Breakit on our move from Stockholm to Gnosjö.

Breakit ran a piece this week about our move from Stockholm to Gnosjö. The framing they led with: while most aspiring entrepreneurs talk about Delaware companies and Silicon Valley, we did the opposite. We packed up and moved to a municipality of 10,000 in Småland.
The reason is not complicated. The Swedish manufacturing belt is concentrated around Gnosjö. If we want to build software for these companies, we need to be where they are. Not on a Teams call from Stockholm. But on the shop floor
You learn a different set of things from physical proximity. How a quote actually gets put together. What an ERP really gets used for. What stays in peoples heads instead of a system. None of that travels over video.
The quote Breakit pulled from our LinkedIn said it plainly: we realized we should be where our customers are.
The next year of Polhem will be built from Gnosjö. We expect that to show in the product.
